Went to college early, wasn't ready, managed to graduate at the start of COVID with an English degree. Self-studied and grinded into learning how to code. Spent about a year in various roles doing mainly product-focused development.
Had the opportunity to go back to school for a Master's degree, spent more time coding. Self-published my first book and am working on the second one. Built a neat rules-based parser to try and figure out of Magic: The Gathering cards are getting too strong too fast. Short answer: yes.
I still love to build, I still love write, I'd love to build something even cooler and at scale with the software engineering skills I've learned.
